9 May 2018 - My 1 precious vote and change that I've hoped for
Malaysia's General Election 14 (GE14) which was held last year was my 2nd time voting since I was legally eligible.
During the GE13, I was still in Doha working and didn't have the chance then to come home and vote the rascals out. I was disappointed (to say the least) since the government of the day and their cohorts - Election Council did all their very best to keep voters like me from fulfilling our basic rights voting from our embassy in Doha or anywhere we might might be residing overseas.
Made sure for GE14 i traveled back from Penang to my voting place in Shah Alam and in tow was my wife as we casted our votes.
I was part of that history made a change and create a hope for future generation. We can still change a government through ballots.
