12 Sept 2008 ...
A day started as hectic as usual.
Agnes is still back home in KL.
Morning briefing with GM has been postponed a few times today
President of Indonesia Bambang Susilo is in the hotel since yesterday ... security was tight as usual if this kind of function happens.
After the meeting with GM at 11.00am - briefing him on the progress of work on all 4 projects under my care, i excused myself and returned to my office.
Did some paperworks on urgent matters and off i went to Supermal to fix my new but gone cookoo Nokia handphone. Too much uploading of mp3 songs and the phone gave up on me.
Had nasi lemak rendang ayam at Malay Village and a glass of Teh Tarik Blended. I miss my nasi lemak with sambal kerang la!
Went back to the Nokia repair centre but i lost my repair slip and so i have to xerox my KITAS and bought a RP 6000 meterai just to claim back my handphone!
Came back to office and checked on my daily dose of Malaysia Today http://mt.m2day.org/2008/ .... that was around 2.30pm ...
Lo and behold .... RAJA PETRA was arrested under ISA! This is indeed a dark day in history for Malaysia. Who in sane mind would still apply ISA in this time and age? Only those who are power crazy and knew the taste of corruption their whole life would cling on to the power are would still apply this draconian law. Oppss! Do i have to remind everyone that the current goverment under the leadership of Mr. Badawi is totally out of touch with current Malaysian rakyat. They are still in this time wrap called Twilight Zone!
The Sin Chew newspaper reporter who wrote the article on the racist Bukit Bendera UMNO leader was arrested under ISA too. The moron who made the racist remark saying the chinese in Malaysia are only "pendatang" got a slap on the hand and 3 years suspension. Oh! welcome to Malaysian style of justice my dear friend! Thing can only get better in this country - depending on which side of fence you're looking in!
I can't help feeling sorry for all rakyat Malaysia ... in this rusty economic condition why do they have to face these humiliation to their intelligence? We're not wet behind our ears Mr. Badawi! We don't belief Anwar Ibrahim is a sodomite Mr. Najib! We don't belief ISA is the answer to all your political problems Mr. Hamid Albar!
